Our testers loved the ease of access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down with just one push of the button. This was a huge help in feedings at night because it meant they could easily reach in and take their baby away without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel itself, but this isn't recommended since it increases the likelihood that your child will be thrown out of the cot.
